We successfully completed 2 weeks (14th -23rd April, 2026) of Beekeeping and Agriculture training in Tathi- Central province in partnership with Plan International as part of the Y3CER project. The program included trainings and delivery of tools and seeds.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the community members and farmers for their time, participation, and commitment over the past 2 weeks. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn made this training truly meaningful.
We look forward to continuing working together and strengthening our partnership through upcoming activities in the months ahead.

All photographs were taken during the 2-week program.

School Visit at KGA-28 April 2026

Kastom Gaden Association (KGA) was pleased to welcome 38 Form 4 Agriculture students from Norman Palmer School, accompanied by their teacher, for a visit today as part of their school-based assessment.
During their time with us, the students participated in a series of short, hands-on sessions covering KGA operations:

-Seed saving techniques
-Open-air vegetable nursery
-Intercropping practices
-Livestock (poultry) management
-Composting
-Fruit tree nurseries

These practical experiences will help strengthen the students’ understanding of sustainable agriculture, build their confidence in applying what they learn in the classroom, and equip them with skills they can use in their own gardens and future careers.
It was truly encouraging to see the students’ enthusiasm, curiosity, and valuable contributions throughout the sessions.
KGA wishes all the students the very best in their education and future agricultural journeys!

Strengthening Communities Through Sustainable Growth 🌱

Kastom Gaden Association is proud to continue supporting our partners Live and Learn Solomon Islands with another batch of fruit tree seedlings for the Marau communities.

These seedlings will help families build stronger, more sustainable food systems, improve nutrition, and increase long-term food security. By planting today, communities are investing in a healthier and more resilient tomorrow.

We are grateful for the ongoing partnership and the shared commitment to empowering local communities through practical, sustainable solutions.

Together, we grow.
