I chose to work at KGA because I have a strong passion for supporting rural communities, particularly in improving their livelihoods and strengthening food security. KGA provides a direct pathway for me to help empower farmers and rural families, while also building my knowledge and skills in community development and sustainable agriculture.
Agriculture and food security are critical for the future of Solomon Islands, and I want to contribute meaningfully to this sector. Working with KGA allows me to be part of an organisation that is not only promoting sustainable farming practices but also ensuring communities are more resilient, self-reliant, and better equipped to face challenges such as climate change. Through this work, I hope to grow professionally while making a positive impact on the people and communities I care deeply about.

I appreciate that KGA has a friendly and supportive working environment, where staff respect and encourage one another.
The team is open-minded, approachable, and committed to sharing knowledge and skills, which creates a positive atmosphere for learning and collaboration.
I also admire the strong network KGA has built with farmers, government partners, regional institutions, and other stakeholders. This network not only strengthens its impact but also provides opportunities for staff to grow professionally and engage with a wide community of development actors.
