Local Egg Omelet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 dozen Eggs - 10
  • 2 cups Ngali nut
  • Salt -to taste
  • Water

Equipment

  • 1 bowl/basin
  • 1 spoon
  • 2 knives -big and small
  • banana leaves for oven

Procedure
 

  1. Prepare an oven or motu and lit it up.
  2. Mash ngali nut with a wooden stick and bowl and place it into a bowl.
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl, beat well and add salt to taste.
  4. Add a little water (preference) and stir the ingredient well.
  5. Wrap the ingredients/mixture in banana leaves or aluminum foil and bake in a oven or motu for about 1-2 hours depending on the heat.
  6. Serve with kumara/potato or cassava.
