Projects
Over the more than two and a half decades since its inception, KGA has implemented and been involved in a diversity of projects addressing the food security and the agricultural productivity of Solomon Island villages.
Projects include:
- the sustainable Livelihoods for Rural Youth project
- the Lauru hospital food garden and training project associated with the hospital’s primary health care unit
- production of a number of farming systems training manuals
- the Solomon Islands Planting Materials Network for the exchange of seeds and crop planting materials
- crop situational assessment reports of isolated locations in the Solomon Islands.
