Creamed Banana

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Coconut
  • 6 Banana - ripe or unripe, your choice
  • 4 Coconuts - dry
  • 4 Chilli fruits
  • 1 thumb size Ginger
  • 1 bunch Shallots
  • Salt - to taste

Equipment

  • 1 scraper
  • 1 strainer
  • 1 knife
  • 1 bowl/basin
  • spoons
  • banana leaves for oven
  • oven & firewood

Procedure
 

  1. Boil bananas with the skin on until they are well cooked.
  2. Drain out water and peel the banana.
  3. Put banana peels on a tray.
  4. Scrap coconuts and squeeze the cream into a pot.
  5. Heat the coconut cream on the fire until the coconut cream bubbles and forms into a thick cream.
  6. Cut chillies and shallots into small pieces and then grate ginger into a small bowl.
  7. Then add them into the pot of cream coconut and heat for 5 minutes.
  8. Pour the mixture onto the banana tray.
  9. Add salt to taste.
  10. Ready to serve.
