New and shared sweet potato varieties being evaluated by farmers across solomon islands
3 youth groups are now bulking root crops for KGA for distribution to farmers. The root crops are farmers best sweet potato varieties from other provinces as well as virus free sweet potato varieties from SPC.
The youth groups are located at:
- Ferasubua and Mana’abu villages in North Malaita
- Vuranimala youths groups in Central province
