Youths learn about glyricidia trees and their role in fixing nitrogen into the soil

10 youths 5 female and 5 male completed attachment program with Sausama Farmer School, Western Province & Gwaunafiu Farmer School, Malaita. The attachments focussed on soil Management. Methods covered include the use of gliricida for alley cropping, mulching and composting, crop roation and the use of legumes, use of animal manures and improved management of local kokorako.
